Our first charity programme for year 2024 was held on 20th February at Madurupitiya Primary school, Meerigama. Madurupitiya Primary school was blessed with more than 20 new students coming to school this year for the enrolling Grade 1.
A bunch of little children embarked on a new chapter of their lives with beginning of their primary education. These little hearts demand support with adequate learning materials to fulfil modern competitive school stream. Unlike some years where children drop out due to certain reasons and what we can do is support with what we can to pursue their education. Twenty packages of learning materials including books & stationery items were donated thanks to the kind contribution of FOOASL members. We believe, we were able to give a little smile on their faces by marking the beginning for brighter future.
We would like to thank you all members for making this event successful and ensuring project done on time with a short notice.
